This is just a preview of some of the secrets that I used when I starting inventing serves. The float serve has been around for a long time. I didn’t invent any of these serves or the idea about placing the ball valves in a certain area to make these serves more excitable and productive. I did practice these serves in many competitions through out my club and non club team years. The serves are presented in a nut shell explanation.

I learned these “ball valve” techniques from my college club coach as well as other players. My coach and I would both go at war in a serving match while we played against each other. He perfected the float serve and incorporated the ball valve techniques. I on the other hand was an inventor of new serves. We would both show off our serves every time we played on the same team against our own team.

We would dominate at least the serving part when we played on the road. I started to incorporate the art and techniques of the float serve into my new serves to create a new hybrid of serves. For those of you who are very good at the float serves I would recommend that you practice these “ball valve” techniques as well my new serves. I wrote down some of the secrets below with illustrations. Again, I did not invent the float serve or float serve techniques but I did invent a lot of new serves using these techniques. Enjoy these serves.
